Our Quality

Gabriel’s Angels are proud of our comprehensive internal quality assurance systems, which are continually reviewed and monitored.
We undertake rigorous compliance reviews to ensure that all of our employees have the relevant qualifications and experience necessary for the service that they will provide. We follow a stringent recruitment procedure to ensure that all of our workers are compliant with the Care Quality Commission’s Essential Standards which enables us to supply our clients with the highest quality healthcare professionals, at all times.
This includes:
Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks
A full health declaration
Full working history, along with detailed references including telephone checks
Annual reviews with relevant registration bodies to ensure fitness to practice

We provide regular supervision for all of our care staff, including recorded one-to-one meetings every twelve weeks, observations and annual appraisals. This ensures that our care staff continuously advance their skills whilst continuing to deliver an excellent standard of care. The wellbeing of our staff is as important to us as the well-being of our service users.

Our Training

A strong focus on continued staff training and development is central to our philosophy. Our care support workers are trained to the National Standards on joining the company and all workers complete a comprehensive mandatory common induction standard training programme which includes manual handling, infection control, fire safety, managing medication, safeguarding vulnerable adults, equality and diversity, health and safety in practice, managing challenging behaviour, communication skills, mental capacity act 2005, dementia and personalisation.
Our aim is that all staff will be working towards a QCF diploma or degree if they so desire. We use a number of national and local training bodies as well as an e-learning system to deliver the training to ensure the highest possible standards.
In addition, we create a bespoke training course based on the individual needs of each service user.
