I have used Gabriel's Angels for the last 4 years for my mothers care. Every single carer has gone above and beyond our expectations as a family. They are very thorough in the care they provide. They ensure my mother maintains as much independence as possible. We as a family have peace of mind that Gabriel's Angels carers are supporting my mother. I am very impressed and can highly recommend them to anyone.

Our family started using this company over 2 years ago for my Father (Ken) after being diagnosed with dementia several years earlier. We had some previous experience with one other local and one larger company in the Berkshire area who both promised us much but delivered very little. Gabriel’s Angels are very understated in their approach - they tell you exactly what to expect and deliver more than what they promise. This is to say the least a 1st class care service. What my immediate family also particularly appreciate apart from the care to Ken is the honesty we receive from them at all times. I have personally got to know several members of staff both in the care team and from the support function and what strikes me the most is that they all really care about what they do which is also proven by the longevity of service from so many of their staff...keep it up!

After using numerous care agencies over the years, Gabriel’s Angels have been the best and we will continue to use their services. We have built great relationships with the carers and look forward to the ladies visiting!

My brother Steve and I still treasure the care you gave to our dad in his final years (Dad was John Bromley senior in Finchampstead) You are a treasure. I hope one day when my time comes that I will find the loving care that you gave to our Dad xxx You are priceless Jacky. Thank you for all that you do for others and their families.

My mother has had a carer visit from Gabriel’s Angels since 2016 and they have built an excellent rapport with each other. After the first visit my mother increased the frequency, as she enjoyed it so much. She thoroughly enjoys the carers visit. She has attended the lunch clubs with other clients too and has loved interacting with people. I cannot thank Gabriel’s Angels enough, they continue to make my mother smile!

During COVID-19 I have been unable to support my mum with her shopping, so I asked Gabriel’s Angels to step in after being recommended by a very good friend. What can I say, apart from they are visiting everyday now and doing mums shopping in addition – when I chat to mum, she is singing their praises and has been so grateful for their support during a difficult time.

Gabriel’s Angels are exactly what they say, Angels! They have supported me at a very difficult time and I did not know where to start but they were very supportive through the whole process from the initial enquiry to the visits every other day. Thank you for all you do for me!

During the last 18 months of my mother’s life Gabriel’s Angels visited multiple times a day to support with personal care and manual handling manoeuvres. When mother was diagnosed with a terminal condition the palliative care manager came out and discussed the process with us as a family and noted down our wishes. They provided carer with dignity and compassion and supported us a family and I cannot thank them enough for all they did.

When I was given a days’ notice to have an operation, I called Gabriel’s Angels in the hope that they could organise some emergency care for my wife for a couple of days whilst I recovered, as I am her main carer. They did not disappoint and went the extra mile. The process was very smooth and we felt very supported. We now have the ladies visit on a regular basis to provide companionship to my wife!

Gabriel Angels enabled me to keep my husband at home for as long as possible after his diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinson’s. Everyone who cared for him was professional and efficient - but they became friends to us both. Nothing was too much trouble and they gave me such support at a really difficult time. I would have no reservation in recommending Gabriel’s Angels to anyone who needed care at home.

Mum needs physical care but has absolutely no dementia issues so to adjust to having a live in Carer in her house after a stay in hospital could have been very difficult for her. Since changing to your agency 2 weeks ago it has been amazing to see the difference in mum. She is so happy. Mentally she is so much better in herself and it’s given her a whole new perspective on life. When we visited and met the Carer it was so different to our old agency. She was so friendly and felt more like one of the family, really considerate of mums needs, fun , a real companion to mum and proactive in taking care of all the things mum previously worried about . Thank you so much it has been such a weight off the family’s mind knowing mum is being so well cared for.
Susan – Live in Care
Gabriel's Angels have looked after both of parents for the last 5 years. We had daily visits for a few years and Since my father sadly passed away in 2018, we have had Live in care for my mother. Gabriel's are a very supportive agency and the care is second to none. My mum would like to remain at home for the rest of her life which we can maintain with the live in carer. We never thought my mum would be able to go out however the Live in carer is great, gets involved, encourages socialisation in the community and has a great bond with mum which is very reassuring for our family knowing the care she receives is excellent I have no hesitation in recommending Gabriel's Angels to anyone.
K Porter – Live in Care
The team are always excellent when caring for my mother making sure she has everything she needs before they leave. Also, after coming out of hospital with grade 2 pressure sores the office liaised with the district nurses to arrange compatible appointments with the carers so my mother’s sores could be dressed regularly. I don’t know what my husband and would’ve done without after my father passed away suddenly in fed this year

I can’t thank Gabriel’s Angels enough for their excellent care and support. They care for both my parents, initially with daily visits for my father and now with a live-in carer to keep both my parents at home together. The carers are so professional, caring and well trained and always think of their dignity and wellbeing. This has also been a huge relief to my brother and myself to know they are safe and happy. When extra support is needed the Agency have been able to step straight in with additional help and visits. Jacky and the office team are also always there for advice and understanding. I highly recommend them.

Gabriel’s Angels based in Wokingham a home care agency that totally lives up to their name. We have used this company nearly four years and will always stay with them until our mum passes by. Being well overdue I feel we need to give all of these lovely “Angels” the recognition they so rightly deserve!! The outstanding care and support they have shown our mum, and the rest of her family since she was diagnosed with Dementia back in 2015 has always been excellence with always the air of compassion delivered. After suspecting mum had dementia back in 2014 once it was confirmed it was devastating to say the least. It was both our mums and our wish that she would under no circumstances be put in a care home. Both my brother and I were present when our mum was assessed for her needs as she was able to self-fund we had endless conversations about what home care agency to use. With our mother it was all about testing the water to see how she got on. We decided the best way to do this was for mum to meet some of the carers, as mum headstrong, sharp tongued, critical, rude, and never wrong, a hypochondriac, and is convinced that everyone else is wrong in what they say and do. And this was before the onset of dementia – obviously now more excessive with an adding of OCD. After meeting various carers from various agencies, the one care agency that stood out from the others was the team of angels we use and have done ever since (Gabriel’s Angels). They go way above and beyond the call of duty with everything they do – from the carers, office staff and management. As mum’s dementia has progressed there have been very difficult times – in and out of hospital, adaptions to the house and a need for council funding. Just one phone call/email to Gabriel’s Angels, and the problems, get sorted with their help. Without their outstanding communication to my brother and myself, I don’t think we would be able to cope. Below are just a few ways they show their care: • Support mums needs and recognise the impact it will have on her care • Communicate to one another on a daily basis if any of mums needs change • Mum is OCD about washing and drying clothes, on daily basis carers help her sort this out and do any ironing for her. • Mum is doubly incontinent. The carers help with her personal care in the most dignified way. • All Mums meals and drinks are made for her. Mum forgets that she is eaten, and will argue that she hasn’t. Mum is always offered meals that are appetising and nutritious; she is also offered small and frequent amounts of other foods throughout the day. Whatever mum eats is monitored and her IBS needs are taken into consideration. Mum is at her happiest when eating. The other area that the Angels excel in is mums care plan very detailed, updated throughout the day/evening and vital information for the rest of the family. I would highly recommend using Gabriel’s Angels care agency if you want a company that really does CARE!

Gabriel’s Angels helped me care for my husband in the last two years of his life. He had a progressive neurological disorder which meant his needs were complex and constantly changing. The staff at Gabriel’s Angels were really proactive in enabling him to do as much as possible while he was able and then supporting him as he became increasingly disabled. The nature of his illness meant that some of his care needs were very specific to him and the staff undertook extra training so that they could manage the specialised treatments he required. We both very much wanted him to be able to continue living at home and, if possible, to die at home. With the support of Gabriel’s Angels he was able to do this with dignity and perhaps even more importantly, a great deal of humour.

These ladies have been caring for my wife for a while now. quite complicated, double carer visits using hoists etc. They are happy, friendly and very professional and they have been of great use in agreeing timings and our care plan with the LA on our behalf. This is a difficult time and my wife and I are so relieved to have Gabriels Angels on our side. Keep up the good work ladies. You are angels.

GA have been supporting my father for over two years and we've been very pleased with the service thus far provided. Staff are courteous, proactive and prepared to mediate with his GP if they notice anything unusual - which gives greater peace of mind
