‘A year ago-Gabriel’s Angels helped me care for my husband in the last two years of his life. He had a progressive neurological disorder which meant his needs were complex and constantly changing. The staff at Gabriel’s Angels were really proactive in enabling him to do as much as possible while he was able and then supporting him as he became increasingly disabled. The nature of his illness meant that some of his care needs were very specific to him. The staff undertook extra training so that they could manage the specialised treatments he required. We both very much wanted him to be able to continue living at home and, if possible, to die at home.
