Coronavirus vaccine research

There is a COVID-19 vaccine research programme organised by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) who are the research partner of the NHS.

A vaccine is designed to prevent you from catching the disease, rather then treating it when you have it.

By applying for the programme, you aren’t automatically enrolled however they will contact you should you be selected.

You will be required to attend the hospital or research centre over the next 6-12 months to receive information about the research study, have blood tests and it is also a good opportunity to ask any questions that you may have
